Verified VC-L200 application and order case
200mm LED Light for IBC Containers & Large PE Furniture
An IBC-container buyer identified the 200 mm format as suitable and confirmed 10 sets of VC-L200. Separate invoices show repeat 200 mm purchases for large PE bars and tables.
For this large translucent IBC container, the buyer did not search by the VC-L200 model name. He described the illuminated product, referred to a 200 mm light he had already seen working in this application, and confirmed 10 sets of the VC-L200 platform.
A 200 mm LED light can provide a wider physical lighting area inside a large IBC container, PE bar or PE table, but diameter alone does not guarantee brightness. Check the complete electrical configuration and test the light inside the actual translucent shell before a bulk order.
The original enquiry
The buyer described an illuminated IBC container, not a model number.
In an email dated January 21, 2018, the buyer showed a square IBC container glowing green from an internal light. He said the picture matched what he needed and that he had already seen a 200 mm light working well in this type of product.

Vcan's sales record confirms that the buyer selected VC-L200 and confirmed 10 sets. The buyer did not leave a review, so this article does not claim customer satisfaction, measured runtime or long-term performance.
The sizing decision
A larger light body can spread output across a wider area.
A large container has more internal volume and a larger translucent surface than a small stool or portable lamp. A wider light source can reduce the concentration of light around one small point and can help distribute illumination across more of the shell. That was the practical reason the buyer considered the 200 mm format.
Size is only one part of the result. LED quantity and layout, operating power, selected colour, battery configuration, distance to the shell, wall thickness and the colour of the PE material all influence the visible brightness and uniformity. A wide housing can still produce an unsuitable result if the electrical configuration or installation is wrong, so diameter should not replace an application test.
VC-L200 product evidence
The physical module measures approximately 200 mm across.

See the current VC-L200 200 mm LED module page for the listed reference configuration. The module, external charging port and connecting lead must be reviewed together with the product's mounting and charging-access design.
A separate long-term PE furniture customer
Repeat records show 200 mm lights ordered beside 85 mm and 117 mm modules.
The IBC-container order above belongs to one buyer. A different long-term customer uses 200 mm lights inside large PE bar counters and PE tables and also purchases other module sizes for different products. Keeping these customers separate matters: the second customer's repeat business supports the wider PE-furniture application, but it is not feedback from the IBC buyer.
| January 2018 IBC project | Buyer identified the 200 mm format as suitable and confirmed 10 sets of VC-L200 |
|---|---|
| October 27, 2021 invoice | A different long-term PE furniture customer ordered 150 units described as D200 mm lights, plus 85 mm and 117 mm induction lights |
| November 10, 2022 invoice | The same long-term customer ordered another 50 D200 mm lights, together with 85 mm and 117 mm induction lights |
The two reviewed invoices document 150 D200 mm lights in 2021 and another 50 in 2022. Both invoices also include 85 mm and 117 mm induction-charge lights, showing that one furniture customer can require several module sizes rather than one universal light. Vcan's sales team reports further orders from this customer, but this article quantifies only the two dated records reviewed above.
Practical selection method
Match the light to the product rather than choosing one diameter for everything.
- Define the illuminated product: send an overall photo or drawing and identify the areas that need an even glow.
- Measure the installation: record the opening, mounting-hole pattern, internal depth and distance from the light to the shell.
- Confirm the environment: explain indoor or outdoor use, cleaning, splashing and expected operating time.
- Choose charging access: decide whether the charger connects underneath, from the side or through another service opening.
- Test one actual shell: evaluate brightness and uniformity in the real PE colour and wall thickness before production quantity is approved.
Smaller products may suit an 85 mm induction module, while other sealed furniture can use a 117 mm induction module. Large PE structures may benefit from VC-L200, but the final decision should follow the measurements and lighting trial described in our rechargeable LED module buying guide.
Need a light for an IBC container or large PE product?
Send the product photo, internal measurements, required quantity, charging-access position and destination country. Vcan can compare an available standard module with an OEM configuration and sample plan.
Questions
Choosing a 200 mm LED light for a large translucent product.
Why did the IBC-container buyer choose a 200 mm LED light?
The buyer had seen the result from a 200 mm light and considered it suitable for the large translucent container, then confirmed 10 sets of VC-L200. This case does not establish that 200 mm is required for every IBC container.
Does a 200 mm module diameter guarantee enough brightness?
No. Diameter affects the physical lighting area, but brightness also depends on LED layout, power, battery, diffuser distance, shell thickness, colour mode and internal reflections. Review the complete configuration and test one sample in the actual product.
Can VC-L200 be used in large PE bars and tables?
Yes, Vcan has supplied the 200 mm platform for large PE bar counters and tables. Fit, mounting, charging access, light distribution and the complete product environment still need to be checked for each design.
Does this article contain a customer review of VC-L200?
No. The IBC buyer's email and confirmed 10-set order document the requirement and product choice, but the buyer did not leave a review. No satisfaction, runtime or long-term performance claim is inferred.
Evidence basis: an archived January 2018 customer email and Vcan's confirmed 10-set VC-L200 order record; plus two invoices from a different long-term PE furniture customer dated October 27, 2021 and November 10, 2022. Customer identities, invoice numbers, prices and totals are withheld. No customer review is claimed for the IBC order.
