Compact LED module selection guide
45mm vs 60mm vs 75mm Rechargeable LED Modules
Choose a compact rechargeable light by fit and application—not by diameter alone.
A small rechargeable LED module is useful when a portable lamp, acrylic display or translucent product does not have room for a furniture-size light. The correct choice depends on the complete installation envelope, required output and charging access—not only the nominal 45 mm, 60 mm or 75 mm diameter.
Use VC-LS45 where minimum size is the main constraint. Choose VC-LS60 when a small housing can accept more battery capacity and light output. Consider VC-LS75 for the largest compact housings and small PE products. Final selection still requires mounting and clearance checks.
Standard reference configurations
45 mm, 60 mm and 75 mm modules serve different space and output needs.
| Model | Diameter | Battery | Power | Standard LED layout |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| VC-LS45 | 45 mm | 300 mAh | 0.5 W | 0.5 W white + RGBW colour LEDs |
| VC-LS60 | 60 mm | 1,000 mAh | 1.8 W | 6 RGB + 6 white LEDs |
| VC-LS75 | 75 mm | 1,500 mAh | 2.4 W | 8 RGBW LEDs |
All three are 5 V direct-charge, IP65 rechargeable RGBW module platforms with an IR remote in their standard reference configuration. Type-C or DC charging can be selected; the two interfaces are alternatives, not two ports supplied on one standard unit.
A larger battery does not by itself establish runtime. LED power, colour mode, brightness setting, battery configuration and the final control program also affect operating time. Confirm runtime through the approved sample rather than estimating it from capacity alone.
Compatibility first
Measure the complete installation space before selecting a diameter.
- Product opening: measure the clear opening through which the module or raised section must pass.
- Outer flange: confirm the full diameter that rests against the product surface.
- Mounting points: record screw-hole spacing and the thickness of the mounting surface.
- Internal depth: allow space for the module body, connector, cable bend and service access.
- Charging access: decide whether the selected Type-C or DC connection remains reachable after installation.
- Diffusion distance: check the distance between the LEDs and translucent shell to avoid visible bright spots.

Application-based selection
Start with what the product must do, then select the closest platform.
| Model | Best starting point for |
|---|---|
| VC-LS45 | Small displays, portable decorative lamps, ornaments and other compact translucent products |
| VC-LS60 | Acrylic displays, portable table lamps and small decorative housings needing more output and battery capacity |
| VC-LS75 | Small rotomoulded PE products, portable lamps and larger translucent housings within the compact range |

For a real development example near the middle of this range, see how a 65 mm product opening was reviewed in our portable table lamp module case. That project also shows why the opening size does not automatically decide the finished module size or custom light specification.
For illuminated tables, chairs, bar counters, sofas and other larger PE furniture, a 45 mm, 60 mm or 75 mm light may not provide the required mounting format, battery capacity or light distribution. Compare the 85 mm, 117 mm and 120 mm platforms in the rechargeable LED module range before deciding.
Standard supplied set
The three compact models include the working light set, but not a power adapter.
The standard VC-LS45, VC-LS60 and VC-LS75 set includes the LED module with its battery, an IR remote control and the selected charging cable. A wall power adapter is not included with these three models unless separately agreed. Confirm plug, charger and market requirements before production.

Questions
Choosing and integrating a small rechargeable LED module.
Which small rechargeable LED module should I choose?
Choose the largest suitable module only after checking the product opening, mounting points, internal depth, required light distribution and charging access. VC-LS45 prioritizes minimum size, VC-LS60 provides a middle option, and VC-LS75 offers the highest standard battery capacity and power of these three models.
Does a 60 mm product opening automatically fit a 60 mm LED module?
No. The model diameter alone does not confirm fit. Check the part that passes through the opening, the outer flange, screw-hole positions, available depth and cable clearance against a drawing or physical sample.
Do VC-LS45, VC-LS60 and VC-LS75 include a power adapter?
Their standard supplied set includes the LED module with battery, remote control and charging cable. A power adapter is not included with these three small-module sets unless separately agreed.
Can the standard battery or LED layout be customized?
Suitable OEM projects can be reviewed for LED layout, battery capacity and related electrical changes. Feasibility depends on the available housing volume, heat, charging design, target runtime and production requirement.
Does an IP65 module make the complete lamp or display waterproof?
No. Finished-product protection also depends on the mounting opening, gasket, fasteners, charging-port exposure, cable route and assembly quality.
The specifications above are standard reference configurations from Vcan's current product data. Confirm the approved drawing, sample, accessories and electrical configuration for each order. The listed IP65 rating describes the module reference; it does not certify the completed customer product.
